This is a piece based on our Model 03, with structural molding clay representing the lead of vintage stained glass pieces. Each panel meticulously painted. Covered in layers of clear lacquer for long term protection.
From AAV: "I love taking inspiration and guidance from what’s around me. In this case, the pen itself. Usually, F-C only sends me pens which are all black or all white. However, this pen had “cathedral” material in the finial, guiding me to pay homage to churches, or at least, sacred and spiritual places. Again I looked for inspiration around me—the Blue Ridge Mountains—portrayed here in imitation stained glass window. The “lead” of the stained glass is raised, and I hope the tactile experience of holding the pen is also itself a beckoning to exist fully in the spiritual moment."
